Which A320 cockpit modules are interactive?

The MCDU/FMC, ECAM display and control panel, Radio Management Panel (RMP), Audio Control Panel (ACP), Navigation Display (ND) and ACARS cockpit printer are all live, working modules. Other pedestal positions (throttle quadrant, ATC/XPDR, WX radar, engine start, cargo smoke, rudder trim, cockpit door, park brake, gear extension) are shown as labeled placeholders.

The Multi-purpose Control and Display Unit (MCDU) — sometimes called the FMC or FMS CDU — is the cockpit interface to the Flight Management System on the Airbus A320. It's used to enter flight plans, performance data, and to monitor the route. Two MCDUs are mounted on the center pedestal, one each for the captain and first officer.

ECAM (Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor) is Airbus's system-monitoring display. The upper E/WD shows engine indications and warnings; the lower System Display shows whichever aircraft system the crew or the aircraft has selected (ENG, BLEED, PRESS, ELEC, HYD, FUEL, APU, COND, DOOR, WHEEL, FCTL). Page selection happens on the ECAM control panel on the pedestal.
